Recipe for Vegan Jackfruit Bowl "Hoisin" with Salad and Rice Noodles
200 g of natural jackfruit (from the vacuum bag without oil)
4 teaspoons of Hoisin sauce
1 tbsp of light soy sauce and 1 small onion , peeled & in rings
1 garlic clove, peeled & chopped
1 teaspoon rapeseed oil
100 g thin rice noodles, eg Vermicelli
1 large handful of baby spinach
100 g red cabbage, sliced or finely chopped
1 small carrot, in thin strips, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 3 tbsp rice vinegar, salt & Pepper
2 spring onions, green and white in rings
2 teaspoons sesame
Optional for serving:
soy sauce

Ingredients
- 200 g Jack fruit nature (from the vacuum bag without oil)
- 4 tsp. Hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 small onion, peeled & in rings
- 1 garlic clove, peeled & chopped
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
- 100 g thin rice noodles, eg Vermicelli
- 1 large handful of baby spinach
- 100 g red cabbage, planed or finely chopped 1 small carrot, in thin strips
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- salt & pepper
- 2 spring onions, green and white in rings
- 2 TL Sesame

The jackfruit pieces in a bowl of Hoisin sauce, soy sauce, onion and garlic Carefully mix and let stir.
Pour the rice noodles in a pot of boiling water, soak for 5 minutes (or as per package instructions) and then drain well in a colander.
Baby spinach with red cabbage , Carrots. Mix the sesame oil, rice vinegar and some salt and pepper.
Heat the rape oil in a non-stick pan and brown the marinated jackfruit pieces with the marinade in it from both sides (about 8-10 minutes).
Arrange the rice noodles and salad in a nice bowl and add the roasted jackfruit.
Sprinkle with chopped scallions and sesame seeds to taste.
